GREAT APPLICATION TO MY YOGA PRACTICE!

Every video had a good amount of practice time, which is rare for online trainings! Also, each module encouraged us to think about how we would handle different situations and apply them in our own practice. It was great!!

SURPRISINGLY HANDS-ON

Very interactive with demos and "now try it on your own"! It was great! There was a fantastic blend of listening, watching, and doing. The quizzes really helped to refresh my memory and I can go back as often as I like.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The science presented in the course can benefit every yoga professional. A lot of yoga focuses on the mind-body connection. So it’s important to learn as much about that mind-body connection as we can. It’s more than muscle; it’s fascia and mechanoreceptors, and our ability to tap in to all the tools our body has built in to it. And this course does a great job of presenting these other elements!

HAVE FUN AND BE INSPIRED

This course is for any yoga teacher or enthusiast looking to up-level their teaching or personal practice to incorporate Self Myofascial Release (SMR) into their classes. With an emphasis on SMR best practices, teachers will feel confident to seamlessly guide their students into a deeper and rich experience in their bodies. Sharing this knowledge will encourage a sense of self inquiry which is the foundation of the yoga practice. This course will enhance your toolkit, spark creativity, and a deeper knowledge and understanding of SMR.

Very clear application of material

As an aerial (pole and lyra) fitness instructor and recently certified yoga instructor, it's really helpful to understand how best to apply SMR while integrating it into a movement practice. I've even started my own virtual "Mobility Matters" class focusing on these techniques to help students prehab their bodies!
